The production of Italia Galactica had been very dull for Kari. After the stock market situation, she had no job other than to make sure everything was running smoothly.
Italy's prime minister had elected Kari into high Italian leadership, who was supplying the prime minister with information on global affairs. For this, she was rewarded a lump sum of money every few days. Kari was now the unspoken representative of Italy.
But now that the Italia Galactica was finished, Kari was moving into more of a political domain. With the threat of Asia to the east, Africa to the south, and impending conflicts between the worldwide powerhouses, the peaceful italian had nothing to do but count the days until there was world war.
Kari wasn't going to wait until then.
"Launch is in two hours." Leonardo said, drinking a glass of Chateaux. "You seem down."
Kari, who was leaning back in her office chair, simply shook his head. "No, but i've been thinking... Since Asia 1 has already landed on the moon, would it make that much of a big deal if we just got there in one piece."
Leonardo pondered the thought a moment, and then nodded his head. "Yes, I understand... What I don't understand is where you're going with it." He smiled.
"I was thinking, we could give the whole ship South American colors and launch it then. We load some militia on there with guns, and take out Asia by surprise." Kari explained, grinning.
There was silence for a moment, and then Leonardo laughed. "Now that's what I like to hear, Kari!" He took another sip of his wine. "I'll get some people on that right away, and we'll be ready with our new 'Brazilia Galactica' by our normal launch schedule."
Kari popped her knuckles. "Good."
