I watched as Daniel and Sarina left to go to the beach. I turned to Lionel.
"So, what should we do?" I asked.
He shrugged. Then his face lit up in a smile.
"I have an idea." He said. He looked me over. I was still in my pajamas, my hair in a mess from sleeping. "Um, you should probably get dressed first."
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean." I exclaimed.
He smiled and leaned over to give me a kiss. "Just get dressed."He said.
I rolled my eyes and nodded. I took a quick shower and put on my swimsuit, just in case. I had no idea where we were going. Over top, I wore some jean shirts and a green tank. Pulling my red hair into a ponytail, I grabbed my purse and sunglasses and headed downstairs.
Lionel was waiting for me by the door. As he held it open, I slipped on my green flip flops and stepped outside. I slid my sunglasses on as Lionel shut the door. Then he slid his arm into mine to escort me to the car. I smiled up at him and he smiled back at me.
He ended up taking me to a small family owned burger joint right on the beach. It wasn't very expensive, and it was the best tasting burger I'd had in a long time. After, we each ordered a milkshake and went strolling down the street, hand in hand. I considered heading towards the beach, but decided against it. In less than a week we would be in the Virgin Islands. Plenty of time for the beach there.
We soon came to a small theater. "Wreck it Ralph" was playing. I grinned at Lionel.
"That one looks so good!" I said, pleading with my eyes.
He laughed. "Fine, we can go see the silly movie." He said.
I smiled and kissed him, and we went to go buy our tickets. The movie was really good. I almost cried at the end. Lionel laughed at me for almost crying during a cartoon movie, so I punched him in the arm, acting angry. But he tickled be a little and I laughed, and I couldn't pretend to be angry any more.
We got back to the cabin in the late afternoon, probably about 3 or 4. We just pretty much sat on the couch and talked, his arm around me and my head on his shoulder, lets rugged up underneath me. We had fallen into a comfortable silence, content to just be together, when Daniel came storming through the door. Sarina was close behind.
"Let me talk to him." Lionel said. I nodded.
He paused at the bottom of the stairs and aced Sarina over, who'd just been standing by the door, unsure of what to do.
"Hey, why don't you come with me?" Lionel said.
Sarina nodded and followed him up the stairs.
A few minutes later, Lion came down the stairs. I smiled at him.
"Everything all right now?" I asked.
He looked up the stairs and grinned. "I think so."
Daniel and Sarina didn't come back down for about another half hour at least.
As we were driving home, goofing off and singing along to the radio, I spoke up.
"Hey guys, I think we need a name for our group."
There were nods all around. Seemed like a fun idea. Several suggestions went flying around.
"Four musketeers!" Sarina exclaimed. We all laughed, but decided it didn't quite sound right.
"I have one." I said, feigning dead seriousness. Everybody went silent. "The totally awesome super cool group."
They all burst out laughing. "What? We could be TASCG for short!"
Sarina shook her head. "I don't think so, Claudia."
I sat back and folded my arms across my chest. "Fine. Last time I suggest anything to y'all."
Sarina leaned over and gave me a hug. "There, there, sweetheart. It swill all be all right." She said I. A baby voice, giving me a pat on the head. I giggled.
Finally, Daniel spoke up. "How about… the eLEEMANators?"
It was silent as we all pondered that thought. "I like it." I said, and Lionel and Sarina nodded in agreement.
I grinned. "Good. Now you guys just wait, before the end of summer we are all going to have tee shirts and bracelets with our group name on them."
They all laughed. I joined them a little, but gave them one last warning. "Y'all think I'm kidding."

The End
