The Meeting's Conclusion

I bit my lip and nodded, stepping over to Daniel and pulling him into a hug. I don't know why, but I started to cry.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Lionel get up. Before he left, I grabbed his hands and looked him in the eyes.

"Thank you." I said.

He nodded, and I squeezed his hands and let him go.

Then I smiled and turned back to Daniel. "What now?"

He shrugged, so I stepped over and kissed him. He smiled, and we went to the movie cabinet.

I pulled out Tangled. He laughed at me.

"Really?" he asked me.

I nodded. "I love this movie."

We sat on the couch and watched the movie, my head resting on his shoulder. I didn't realize I had fallen asleep.

When I woke up, it was the part where Rapunzel was crying after Flynn died. I sat up. That's my favorite scene.

By the end of the movie, my own eyes were filled with tears. I was just so darn emotional with movies.

I looked over and realized Daniel has also fallen asleep. I laughed and shook him awake.

"I should go home now. We do have school tomorrow." I said. He nodded, drowsy.

Kissing him goodbye, I got up and went to the door. One final glance back showed that he was already back asleep. I shook my head and opened the door to leave.

Walking up to my room, I felt suddenly giddy. I thought that I wouldn't be able to get to sleep, but I was proved wrong. As soon as I laid on m bed, I was out. I didn't even have time to change or take off my make up.

I woke up the next morning to gold all over my pillow. Cursing myself, I stumbled sleepily over into my bathroom.

Surprisingly, my hair had mostly stayed through the night. So I decided to just patch it up and keep it that way.

I wiped off my make up and applied some more neutral shades.

Returning to my room, a pulled out jeans and a nice shirt. I decided to keep on the jewelry I was already wearing, grabbed my things, and went downstairs to have some breakfast.

When the bus pulled up, I got into the bus and sat down in my normal seat, waiting for Daniel to get on.

He never did.
