Its nose caressed my face, the moisture from it rubbed off on my cheek, I did not move. Its razor sharp teeth were inches from my face; I closed my eyes and held my breath. I heard its footsteps plod away, my eyelids peeled open, it slowly turned to its evil face towards me, its ears pricked up as I took in a breath of air. I had little time; I stood, spun around and ran. The forest was becoming denser and I had to weave and wind around the trees and I was sure it was getting darker by the minute.
