It Begins...with reason

This is a collection of musings (like writing prompts), which I wanted to document in order to analyze the development of their content. It is composed mainly of discordant trains of thought, and from many of them I had to excise sections which were even more boring - so I apologize in advance for the lack of coherence.

Feel free to comment, criticize, add your own trains of thought, berate, ridicule; though I will admit, I am partial to the former two.

Recently, a lot of media regards consciousness...its essence, creation, consequences. What is it? Thought?

The state of being aware of surroundings? What is awareness, though? Recognizing patterns we ourselves see, or patterns within an objective reality? Is there a difference?

Again, does an objective reality actually exist? Is it even possible to be aware of it? If not, then what is the point of life? How can humans understand if there is nothing to understand?

...this questions everything. What is the validity of my questions? Are my questions even a form of reason? Forget about answers if I cannot even find the right questions. Why do there have to be right questions anyway? How are questions wrong?

...perhaps they are simply not the important questions.

The End
