I found myself looking down the barrel of a gun. I sighed, a little frustrated at how repetitious my life could be sometimes.

"My dear Doctor, you know that you cannot stop me." The Kangaroo said, laughing.

"I know." I muttered. "But you didn't take into account my friend." A smile grew on my face as I saw Erin doing exactly what she was supposed to do.

"What?" The Kangaroo turned, looking down just as I had.

"I just have a couple of questions." I asked. "Why up here?"

The Kangaroo looked at me as if I had said something incredibly stupid. "We have a great view from up here, Doctor. Just look at the Opera House. It's ready to go." I watched him sift through its pouch for the control switch, nodding to Erin. I could only see her out of the corner of my eye but it looked like she knew what to do.

"But seriously. But over the top don't you think? Standing on Sydney Harbour Bridge to watch the Opera House blow up?" The Kangaroo smiled at me, lowering the gun to press the button. I lunged for him, nearly losing my footing. The Kangaroo simply jumped back, out of my reach, pressing the button with a deep laugh.

Nothing happened, so he pressed the button again. I gave him an innocent look before turning to leave.

"What have you done?" He yelled, waving his gun at me.

"Let me give you a hint. Next time you intend on blowing something up with natural gas, make sure you don't leave a window open. Seems like I didn't need to stop you after all." I laughed, walking away. I could hear the Kangaroo sob so I turned to see him jumping away.

Back on the ground, Erin came running up to me with a wide smile on her face. "Did I do it?"

I looked at her, smiling. "Of course." I patted her on the shoulder. "But we did get some help from our clever friend Skippy."

We laughed, heading for my ship. "Are we going?" She looked a little disheartened.

"Did you want to stay?" I asked, opening the door.

"Well we haven't had chance to look around, have we?" She spun around. "It's Sydney, Australia. I bet there is so much going on here!"

I nodded. "But just think, out there," I pointed to the sky. "Out there is something else, something magical and alien, something brand new. A once in a lifetime opportunity, Erin. We could go and see the dancing waterfalls of Mononis or,"

"Get in." She said, pushing me into the blue box. "So why did we just do evil talking kangaroo on Earth?"

I beamed at the ship, running to the console. As she closed the door, we were off, hurtling through time and space. "Everyone has to start somewhere, don't they?"

She joined me by the console, laughing. The TARDIS shook a little as we flew through some turbulence, only deciding to tell me that something was going to go wrong when it was already too late.

"Dangerous?" She asked.

I nodded and we both grinned. I landed the ship and raced her to the door. I let her open it and we both looked out at the same time.

"Well, I didn't see that coming." I muttered to myself, turning. "You are truly full of surprises."

I stroked the wall of my ship, looking out again. She had gone. Will they ever learn?

Personality Erin is quite a curious young lady, she aspires to be a journalist, meaning that she is very interested when it comes to investigating into things.
Extra Erin is a brightspark and is the top of her classes in college and aspires to attend J school after college. Erin can be quite stuborn and arguementative when she wants to be but would do anything to help her friends out, even if that means putting herself in danger to help them.
Erin has a tendancy to bottle up her emotions and not let off that anything is bugging her. She always has a smile on her face even if sometimes the smile doesnt reach her eyes.
Erin lives at home with her parents and her younger brother Simon, who is 14.
Erin has met the doctor on and off throughout her life since the age of 8 years old so she knows him quite well and when she turned 18 she started travelling with him. Was the first of the companions to join the doctor.
