It started just like that. Just a simple “Hi.”
Of course, there was more to it. The life and death experiences. The fact that they had been through heaven and hell. That they’ve been stuck in mud pits, sent flying over a desert via catapult, and even almost killed climbing an exploding volcano.
But whenever they met, it was always “Hi.”
Never “What’s up.” Or “How’s life.” It was as if it was now a tradition.
“Hi. How are you? I’ve almost died.”
