Spinning - Open

My heart beating lightly, I close my eyes. The light seeps in through my eyelids and I smile at it. The cold autumn chill caresses my cheeks as I brace myself for the ride. Clinging to the freezing bars, I steady my feet.

"Ready?" He calls

"Ready" I reply, opening my eyes just in time to see my world slowly start moving as he pulls on his own bar, running to increase speed.

I watch as the vivid trees, become shapeless blurs, the sun shining through them like dancing lights. He hops on, both of us clutching the spinning roundabout.

The End
