Sarah

I woke up to find myself in Theseus' bed. I sat up and gazed over at him. He was holding my phone, looking bemused, and appeared to be wearing sunglasses.

"What are you doing with my phone?" I asked. "And what's with the sunglasses? You look like Edward from that scene in the Twilight movie."

Theseus snorted and looked at me. "It's to stop you from fainting. And I think your best friend just rang."

"Jamie?!" I asked, alarmed.

"Yeah, him."

"What did he say?"

"Er, hi. And then I said hi. And then he said he thought he had the wrong number."

"Oh, dear. He must have not been keen on talking to you."

Theseus shrugged. "S'pose that makes sense."

He put my phone on the bed. "Now, shall we try and kiss again without you fainting?"

I clambered out of the sheets and crawled up to him. I punched him playfully, saying "It's not my fault your eyes make me forget to breathe."

Theseus laughed. "It's not mine either."

"Bet it is," I said, sticking my tongue out at him.

"Nah - you're just stupidly captivated by me."

He pulled me towards him and started kissing me. He leant back about two seconds later and grinned. "I wonder how long you can resist."

"Not long," I admitted, leaning back in.

My face annoyingly kept hitting the sunglasses.

"Can you take them off?" I asked, frustrated by the obstacle.

"No - you'll faint again."

"Can't you just blindfold me or something?"

"Nah, that wouldn't be very nice. Plus, your blindfold would just rub against my face."

"Damn. Oh well." I pretended to get on with the kiss, but once we were back into it, I quickly pulled them off his face and throw them somewhere else on the bed.

He broke away briefly to mutter "Sneaky."

I ignored him. With my eyes tightly shut, I continued to kiss him, stroking his hair and holding his shoulders with my now free hands while he held my waist, while luxuriating in the glorious feelings cascading through me like a waterfall.

Before the kiss became too strong, we stopped, breathing heavily. Outside, the sky was dark and stars were starting to appear.

"I have to go home," I told Theseus sorrowfully.

"No you don't," he said, grinning.

"My parents will be worried - they think I'm still at home."

"Well, I'll just pretend to have kidnapped you. Is holding you ransom too much, do you think?"

"Just kidnapping me's too much," I said. "I don't want my parents calling the police and then discovering I'm with a random guy they've never met."

"I'm sure they'll cope."

"No, they won't. They treat me like a human."

"Well, that's not right."

"Are you going to challenge them?"

"You're dad's an angel. I don't think I could if I wanted to." Theseus sighed. "Which is just too bad..."

I nodded sadly.

Resignedly, Theseus picked me up. He carried me to an open window, notifying Amelia of our departure, before flying me to my house. We entered my bedroom and began to kiss slowly and soulfully.

When we broke away, Theseus glanced at my bed and grinned.

"I could always stay here tonight."

"No, you couldn't," I said laughing. "Both my parents would assume the worst."

"And what would that be?" Theseus asked, grinnng wickedly.

I gave him a playful shove. "Go home and learn how to behave properly."

Theseus cast his eyes down. "Yes miss," he said in a small voice.

I leant up and kissed him again.

Theseus wrapped his arms around me and prolonged the kiss for another few minutes.

Afterwards, he returned disconsolately to his apartment.

I did a little homework before retiring for the night. I consoled myself with the knowledge I would see my love tomorrow. But even that thought was tainted when I remembered I would also have to face Jamie.

The End
