After Club's... odd moment.. he fell unconscious for another hour. When he awoke, he was back to his usual self.
"Where am I? Urrrgh! Why is my head in your lap? What? What?" He sat up, his head snapping to and fro. I grinned.
"Oh hey, Club.." I smiled at him conspiritorially.
"What? Whaaaatt?" He moaned.
"Do you.. remember anything, from before?" I asked slyly.
"Yeah. I did magic, and then those weird horses appeared, and then-" He began.
"No, after that." My smile widened.
"Uh, what? I thought this.. this was after that.." He frowned, furrowing his brow.
"You don't remember.." I made kissing sounds.
"Wh-What?" He stared at me.
"Uh, you were acting.. a little... Strange. You called me.. cute.. and.. pretty and you said that you liked me.. and you.. you kissed me.." I couldn't stop myself from going a little red at that, but it was nowhere near as red as Club went.
"I.. No.. That wasn't.. I don't.. You're not.. Uggh." He tailed off, clearly unable to find the right words. We ended up sitting, in the forest in our torn and tattered clothes, wounds throbbing, in an awkward silence. I didn't want to break it, and neither did Club. But eventually, I had to.
"Well... This is awkward.." I giggled nervously, but Club just shot me a death glare.
"Shut it. Lets get out of this damned forest." And with that he got up and stalked away, leaving me to follow meekly in his wake.
