I woke up with a banging headache.
"Ugh... what the hell happened?"
I clutched my head and rolled out of bed, almost forgetting to put my feet down in the process. I glanced down, realised I was still in last night's outfit, and groaned. What the hell?
Having changed in to my pyjamas with the strong conviction that I would be doing NOTHING today, I forced myself towards the kitchen for a drink of water. As I emerged bleary eyed, the light blinded me. I screwed up my eyes and groaned.
"Ugh seriously? I'm becoming a vampire."
There was a chuckle and I looked through the door to the kitchen to see Liam sat on the sofa.
"As long as you don't sparkle, I'll be ok with that."
"Heaven forbid." I said dryly, grabbing a glass and filling it with water before collapsing next to Liam.
"How's the head?"
"I'm not surprised."
"And why aren't you in agony?"
"Not a lightweight."
"Neither am I!" I said, giving him a light smack.
"Sure sure... sorry, have you got a headache?"
"Y- Oh alright. I get it. If I wasn't incapacitated, I'd kick your ass."
"You'd have to catch me first slow coach."
"Ugh, I'm too groggy for this."
"Aww, poor little Cara." He pulled me to him and I rested my head on his chest.
"I ache." I complained.
"Yeah. Not surprised. All that rolling round on the floor laughing."
"Was I horrendous?"
"Never. But you were way drunk. I swear, you and Ali were getting pretty cosy."
"Yeah?" I remembered fuzzy details of last night. "Oh... yeah."
I heard the door open and turned around. Ali stood in the doorway, clutching her head.
"Ugh... someone is stamping on my brain." She moaned.
