Calling the others

"Pass me your phone." Grace ordered. Still in shock, I did as she said.

It was a good job I had managed to stop the car. If I had crashed into anything, my car would have been a mess, and  I don't think even Rishon could have fixed it.

"Lace, please tell me you just went crazy."

I turned to Grace and watched her as she spoke. From the sounds of it Lacey and Ethan had felt it too. Something weird was definitly going on.

"Yeah...No....ehuh....yeah..." Grace muttered.

"Pass me my phone back." I asked, reaching for it. She dodged out of the way, and ignored me.

"Yeah, that's what it was like for us." Grace told her excitedly. It was annoying only hearing part of the conversation.

"Grace, don't make me force it off you. Pass me it." I snapped. Grace threw me a look. She put her finger to her mouth, and shushed me. I leant over and grabbed her hand. She yelped, and let go off the phone.

"No fair!" She yelled at me. I just laughed.

"Lacey, it's Ev." I said down the phone.

"Oh, hey. I was just telling Grace how something just happened to us too." She said down the phone. Before I could say anything back, there was a lot of rustling noises and then Ethan got on the phone.

"Man, what do you reckon this means?" He asked.

"I don't know, but it's bad whatever it is. Remember that girl with us at dinner? Trinity or something. I saw her disappear." I told him.

"Saw her? Where is she?" He said back to me.

"Not face to face, but like in my mind. Like a vision or something."

"Weird." He muttered, and I nodded in agreement.

"Where are you? At home?" I asked him.

"Nearly." he replied to me. He told me the exact place and I said that I would pick him up. After I hung up, I looked at Grace.

"You bullie. My wrist is bruised, you pig." She snapped. I laughed at her, ruffling her hair.

"Stop! Your'll mess my hair up and were meeting Ethan." She yelled. I paused and looked at her.

"And Lacey." She added quickly.

"Hmm." I muttered, and started my car.

Ethan was in my year, and a year older than Grace. I knew he didn't see her like that, but I didn't want Gee to get hurt. Ethan was a cool guy, but only the best for good enough for my sister.

The End
