Just...So PerfectMature

I sighed and looked in the mirror. Things with Wolf were different, he was different. When we had the opportunity to, we sat down and talked about where he had gone. There was all so much to take in, and I just couldn't get used to calling him by his new name, Lorien.

"I'm still the same man Akira." He had whispered to me. But it wasn't the words themselves that had made me melt, but the emotion that had shone so brightly inside of his eyes.

The love that I felt for him was so tangible to me that I feel that it could make me soar. And he was right, he was still the same man that I had fallen so deeply in love with. But his younger looks threw me a little. I was used to him having the stubble on his jaw, and the wide shoulders.
As a 17 year old, he had a completely different body shape, but un ways is was still the same. His voice was still the same that I felt that I could get used to the changes that he had gone through.

I snapped back to the present and looked at my reflection. It was time for prom, and I had no idea how Wolf/Lorien was going to react to the sight of my scars fully on display. My mother had bought me a matching shawl for me to slip around my shoulders.

My mother had helped me do my hair and make up.
My hair was swept up into a chignon with two bits of curled hair falling down my back. My eyes were darkened with black eye shadow, thick mascara that curled my eyelashes, dark eyeliner and pink lip gloss. In my hait was matching dark blue butterfly clips and blue studs in my ears.  As my shoes I had four inch black heels, with black ribbons that tied around my ankles.

I took a deep breath and wrapped the shawl around my shoulders and made my way downstairs. I paused at the top when I saw Wolf standing at the foot of the stairs. He looked so handsome, in his pitch black tux, with a black silk shirt and pleated black slacks and shined black shoes and a white rose pinned to his shirt.

He snapped his mouth shut and looked up at me in bewilderment. His eyes were wide as he stared at me. Feeling slightly awkward, I started down the stairs carefully balancing on the heels. Wolf met me halfway up the stairs, I reached out and clung to him as I wobbled in the high heels.

"You look so beautiful." He whispered to me. I ducked my head and blushed.
"You look so handsome." I whispered back. He chuckled and pulled me into a gentle hug. Before I could enjoy the warmth of him, he pulled back and helped me down the stairs.

As we walked outside, I stopped at the doorway and gaped at the shiny black limo that was parked at the curb.
"Wolf... I mean Lorien." I said in wonder. He chuckled again and took my hand in his and lead me to the limo.

We arrived just as Melissa was pulling in with her date. She saw me and grinned and motioned that she'd meet me inside. I nodded to her and turned my attention back to trying to walk in my heels.
As we enetered the schools gym, I looked around in shock. The gym was transformed into what looked like a fairytail. With heaps of fairy lights, ribbons, ballons and other decorations that where placed around the gym.

"Wow..." I breathe. Wolf pulls me against his side and leads me into the gym. Melissa sopts us and comes running over with her date in tow.
"Oh my gosh! Akira you look amazing!" She exclaims as she hugs me gently. I smiledat her and pulled away.
"As do you! You look gorgeous." I said to her with a grin. She blushed and fiddled with her pink dress.

Melissa wore an ankle length, baby pink dress that hugged her curves expertly. He hair was loose and hanging down her back, with light makeup that somehow made her look all the more beautiful. She had a matching pink necklace and nude coloured high heels. Her date wore a dark grey tux, with a pink rose and an expensive looking watch.

Melissa gasped and grabbed onto her date. "Lets dance!" She said as she dragged him onto the dance floor. Wolf chuckled and wrapped his arm around me and lead me onto the dancefloor.
He pulled me to him and buried his face in my neck. I shuddered and clung to him tightly.

"I love you, I love you so much." I whispered to him. He tensed and looked down at me. I watched him nervously, waiting for his response. But he didn't say anything. Feeling ashamed I started to back away from him, but he held on to me.
Still without saying a word, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a silver necklace. He walked behind me and slipped it around my neck. I looked down and gasped. It was the silver heart necklace that he had given me awhile bac.

"Oh Wolf..." I breathed. I placed my fingers over it and watched him walk back around and face me. He smiled at me and pulled me to him and kissed me deeply.
The music turned to a slow instrumental, wolf and I started to sway along to the music. Wolf pulled the shawl off of me and dropped it on the floor. I gasped and began to cover my scars, but he caught my hands and shook his head.

"Either way, you're so beautiful Akira." He said to me softly. I blushed and ducked my head. He placed his fingers under my chin and kissed me sweetly.
"Akira, you're just...so perfect." Tears blurred my eyes as my heart flip flopped inside of my chest.

I had Wolf back and he accepted me, scars and all. I had my mother and Melissa.
My life is getting back on track. I feel as though I'm in a good place.
I snuggled deeper into Wolf and grinned against his shoulder.
"Yes...Perfect." I whispered.

The End
