As soon as his lips touched mine, my senses exploded. All I could smell was his musky scent, taste his spicy taste, hear his softly drawn breaths and see his stormy eyes so alight with many secrets.
The very feel of Wolf tantalized me, I felt intoxicated with the overwhelming presence of him.
My body tingled from head to toe, my skin felt so hot and sensitive.
My breath came in ragged puffs and my heartbeat pounded a ruthless rhythm in my
How could I be so attuned to Wolf in such a short period of time?
Why is it that I felt as if I’ve been waiting years for this one man’s forbidden touch?
No answers sprang to mind and a part of me didn’t care that there were so out of reach.
At least for now.
I pulled back and looked up at him.
“We shouldn’t be doing this.” I whispered softly.
“No.” He agreed and pressed his lips against mine again.
I clutched his broad shoulders tightly and melted against him.
And I knew that without a doubt that this was more than a mere teacher/student crush. I forgot about everything that wasn’t Wolf.
His arms tightened around my waist and my nails dug into his shoulders. A thought registered that this is all wrong, that there was something I was missing. If I just opened my eyes and got space from Wolf, something about this mysterious male would be revealed.
But I didn’t want to.
All I wanted to do is crawl into his warmth and stay there. The thought should’ve scared or at least motivated me to pull away but I felt like I was under a spell and it’s focal point was the male that held me with such tenderness and strength that I wanted to weep.
We both jumped to attention when a twig snapped loudly behind us and footsteps shuffled through the bushes.
Wolf and I pulled away at the same time and watched in disbelief as Zane stepped out of the shadows and regarded us angrily.
I frowned and took a step forward.
“Zane what the hell are you doing here?” I asked in annoyance.
I drew my hand up to my still tingling lips and ran my fingertips over them lightly.
“After our…conversation I came over to talk to you in person. But as I arrived I saw you leaving and I followed you. And now I’m regretting doing that.” He told me quietly.
I dropped my hand and looked down at my feet.
“How long has this been going on behind me back Akira?” Zane asked as he stepped closer.
I looked over to Wolf and saw a muscle angrily ticking in his jaw and his stormy eyes seemed alight with an unreadable emotion.
I looked back at Zane and saw him watching me closely.
“Nothing’s been going Zane.” I told curtly.
He scoffed and raked his hands through his hair.
“Don’t lie to me Akira. Now I know why you broke up with me. So you can be with that perverted teacher.” He spat.
“Don’t call him that!” I defended Wolf.
A disgusted expression crossed Zane’s face it mingled with the rage that burned so bright in his eyes.
I automatically recoiled from his ferocious expression. I’ve never seen this side of Zane before and I’m glad that I didn’t. The look on his face screamed bloody murder.
“Stop it.” I whispered to him.
He looked at me with his blazing eyes and shook his head.
“No. You were meant to be mine. And you will be.” He said to me.
He started toward Wolf with an intent expression on his face.
Things were just about to get very bad, I thought with a small whimper.
