Kill Joy

Recommend

Pill upon my lip,
up on yon hill
I mull my opinion.

Humbly I look;
no pink on my bloom,
no job in yon mill.

Buoy my bulk
by hull & jib only
up on inky oil.

Rac7hel I had an idea... Write a poem using only one hand. That is, when typing, assuming you're using a qwerty keyboard and the standard hand positioning, use only words that can be typed with one hand. Right or left, doesn't matter which, just stick to it throughout the entire piece. It doesn't have to be long. It doesn't have to be a 'poem' either, if you're the prose type. Whatever you want.

So, for the left hand, your letters are:

a b c d e f g q r s t v w x z

Or, for the right hand:

h i j k l m n o p u y

B is right smack in the middle, so whichever hand you use for B, put it in the appropriate list. And if you normally do anything else differently, use your version, not mine.

Can it be done? Yes! It's kinda hard, but give it a try :)

P.s. You can still punctuate, capitalize and everything. You don't have to physically be able to type it with one hand. Just cut the alphabet in half down the middle of the keyboard, that's all I'm saying.
