On the Despair of Having No Snacks in The House

1. Anticipation

I open the door.

Oh, how I wish for some snack!

The old cabinet creaks.

2. Shock

I hum quietly.

Where is my beautiful prize?

But the chips are gone.

How can this happen?

A slow tear falls from my eye.

I wanted those chips.

3. Disappointment

I sigh longingly.

But my gaze sees no good snacks.

I shut the wood door.

I stand, then I sit.

My head is in my weak hands.

I think of more food.

Bananas, perhaps.

But I am made to suffer.

Goodbye, chips, goodbye.

The End
