The shadows swirled in front of my eyes. Shadows of little children, full grown men and women, yapping puppies, and long willowy trees. My own shadow had dissapeared.
As I watched a game of kickball between the shadow-children. I also saw a couple sitting on the grass, sharing a sandwhich. I had never ever felt so lonley.
The trees swayed in the wind. The children played, the adults talked, and I sat all by myself. If only I could see the real them.
