"1) Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self. - Cyril Connolly 2) 'Big man in a suit of armour, take that away what are you?' 'Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist?' - Captain America and Tony Stark (The Avengers) 3) Blessed are the weird people – - poets, misfits, writers, mystics, painters, troubadours – - for they teach us to see the world through different eyes. - Jacob Nordby" Hi, I'm Katie :-) Going through a massive rut, I haven't read or written anything properly in ages. Working my way through it and should hopefully get back to posting regularly soon! A writer — and, I believe, generally all persons — must think that whatever happens to him or her is a resource. All things have been given to us for a purpose, and an artist must feel this more intensely. All that happens to us, including our humiliations, our misfortunes, our embarrassments, all is given to us as raw material, as clay, so that we may shape our art.
