"1) Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self. - Cyril Connolly 2) 'Big man in a suit of armour, take that away what are you?' 'Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist?' - Captain America and Tony Stark (The Avengers) 3) Blessed are the weird people – - poets, misfits, writers, mystics, painters, troubadours – - for they teach us to see the world through different eyes. - Jacob Nordby" Hello to you if you have stumbled across my profile :--) I'm not very good at filling these things in so I'll give you the basic facts: My name is Katie, I'm 22 years old and I live in England. I love all things literature-wise, words are very important to me but unfortunately they escape my mind a lot. I wanna travel and see the world, probably more than anything. I have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with zombies and apocalyptic worlds so 99.9% of my word will probably be about a zombie apocalypse. I completed NaNo one year with a little over 50,000 words :~) with fellow author and friend tylerdidit (go check out his profile; he's awesome). The story is set in the midst of a zombie apocalypse and can be found right here! If you have any questions or want me to read some of your work just pop a little comment down below ▼ I wanna try and get back into Protag. Thanks and goodbye :-) A writer — and, I believe, generally all persons — must think that whatever happens to him or her is a resource. All things have been given to us for a purpose, and an artist must feel this more intensely. All that happens to us, including our humiliations, our misfortunes, our embarrassments, all is given to us as raw material, as clay, so that we may shape our art.
