"My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging." ~ Hank Aaron

I'm Emma.

I'm mainly a flash fiction writer, but I do quite a few short stories as well. Check out my blog for all of them.

As for the pieces of flash fiction I do plan to expand to longer stories (with you guys), you can check out the 'Works' tab. You can go now. I'll be here when you're done.

Yeah, I have nothing to say.

Also - I spell everything the British way, but I'm not actually British. In fact, if you saw above, you'd find that English isn't even my first language. Weirdly enough, though, I feel much more confident writing in English than Chinese.

Anyways. I like books. Lots and lots of books. I don't read a lot of different books, because we don't get many English books here. In a typical bookstore in Hong Kong, the English book collection might not span more than one shelf. Quite sad really.

I'm addicted to writing, honestly. If I didn't have actual school work to do (which I still have a large pile of as I type), I'd be writing every day. I'd willingly get up at 6am to write.

I'm all for women's equality/rights, minority rights/equality, racial equality/rights, First Nations rights/equality, transgender (+ other non-binary genders and sexualities and everything else) as well as anything else. I'm also pro-choice. These are my opinions, and I would appreciate it if you could respect them just like I will respect yours even if they are conflicting.

Anyways. Come and say hi if you want to, I'm also always happy to read someone's works if they want to suggest one.

I like to think that I'm a pretty nice person, so come and chat if you want to. It's always nice to meet new people.

Oh yeah, before you leave, just know you can contact me at scatterplot@mail.com.
