"Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people." --Eleanor Roosevelt I am nineteen years old with big dreams and an even bigger imagination. Around age five I first found the pen, wanting to create stories of my own. I wrote stories and poems all through elementary school and even sold them to friends/family (for a quarter each). Throughout life, my mind changed about so many things--but never writing. I knew with absolute certainty that this was my passion--that this was my reason for being. When I'm not making up imaginary people and worlds, I am probably goofing off somewhere. I love being social and meeting new people, so don't be afraid to reach out! I really feel that there is something to learn from everyone. Deep conversations about the universe are my favorite. I also love coffee, Orange is the New Black, and, of course, a good book. I am super interested in history and art, as well, and want to never stop learning. The World Wars and the Vietnam era interest me most; there was so much great art being produced then. Currently, I am going to school at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, majoring in English Literature. I am double-minoring in Spanish and in Journalism, and with all this I hope to be an editor or translator of some sort. After graduation, I aspire to live in New York City.
