I often encountered this issue when dealing with my english teachers. Especially when I was in writer's craft I got a 50 in that class for my grade. The teacher hated me because all I wrote was horror and she, not in so many words, wanted romance.
So as long as I rebelled against her style she hated it. I even wrote a script once and she poo poo'd it saying it was terribly written because I didn't follow the exact formats that scripts should be written in.
Now I'm looking at writing my own tv show and getting some stuff published and I started out like you. Scribbling down stupid ideas and sometimes writing stories that were endlessly going on with new characters.
I eventually started to hone my skills down to writing a new story when I got a new idea, that way the ideas wouldn't overwhelm me in one story and totally botch it up.
If you could see my first novel I started writing it was a mismatch of totally different ideas. Now that I look at it I realize that maybe I could write it again and use all those ideas and actually make it seem like a very interesting story.
Anyways I'm babbling, what I meant to say was never give up on your writing and just because you can't spell very well as you mention in your profile that shouldn't stop you. I taught myself grammar and spelling through trial and error, and its not hard for anyone to do.
I haven't actually gotten around to reading your stuff, your profile just inspired me and reminded me of my childhood. I'll read some and leave my comments. Keep working at it though I hope to see some more stories posted by you!"
I'm impressed with your writing. I seriously wish I wrote like this when I was twelve. You've got some definite talent. Keep pursuing it, please."
