No one special in particular, just a kid teen young adult who has his on and off days when it comes to writing.
Peculiar Points of Intrigue and Interest
- I am extremely picky when it comes to my writing; it must be perfect (in my sense) before I'll consider sharing it with all the lovely Protaggers here.
- My criticism of other people's writing has been described as "to the point" and even "harsh" but for the most part I've never written criticism without compliment! I've yet to leave a comment on Protagonize that's been considered hateful flame...though I can't say I've been tempted to leave a message for certain pieces...
- Inconsistent and unpredictable are two of my favorite words to use when I'm describing my own writing style. Sometimes I like to create epic but horribly traditional and cliche fantasy worlds with the plot and characters I've grown to love, but sometimes I step out of that zone and create something more modern with a more humorous or serious message (think dramas, cheesy romance, thrillers, even horror).
- I consider myself a realist; the happier version of a pessimist but the more depressing version of an optimist.
If you're feeling up to it, don't be afraid to drop a comment! Maybe it's just to say hello, or maybe you want someone to take a look at your work and offer you concise comments?
Without ratings though-I've realized over the three or four years I've been a member of Protagonize that the people are more likely to rate a work five stars just for the sake of being nice or to boost their work's rating. It works the other way too, sneaky gits flaming another person's work anonymously because they're petty, snobbish, or just plain negative people.
