I've always wanted to be a writer, from the days I could write with joined-up writing, and would take hours of my life up writing bonkers sci-fi stories about eyeballs from Neptune and the like.
Somehow I ended up in a very uncreative profession and keep telling myself to fight against this destiny, even though I have (the dreaded) responsibilities.
My most prolific period was when I lived in Dubai for a year. The link is to the blog I wrote while I was there. I keep threatening to turn it into a book.
