i wasn't lonely. until i realized that unicorns weren't real. pink picket fences and prince charmings don't show up outta nowhere, and there wasn't ever a manual-- all my crayons broke, trees can't be watered to grow money out of them, defiant nerds weren't attractive until really cool guys that JUST AREN'T THAT INTO ME kept magically sweeping me off my feet on red carpets that only exist in my dreams...all of my nerve got lost when i remembered i was at a loss for words and doubt is the heaviest mocha latte i ever blew bubbles in so loudly.you never have to accept me. and as soon as i say such a thing; i find that all i want in this world to be is welcome.
