Well I am a 18 year old who just recently became a mother, w0ot=]

I love writing, mostly poetry so a lot of my stuff is just short poems.

Really not much to say about myself.. I am just a regular teen age girl with not much to do with her spare time but write!

There are also a bunch of online literary zines (like, http://www.wordsdance.com/ for instance) that accept submissions and will run you through a streamlined acceptance/rejection process, just like the print magazines... I'm sure there are lots of poetry workshops out there..."

I belive the site for the Chicken Soup titles is http://www.chickensoup.com/default.asp

There is a link on the home page for submissions if you want to submit a story with a link outlining the submission guidelines as well.

Good luck!

The main purpose is for writers/poets to post their work and receive feedback on it. The atmosphere is a lot different than here at Protagonize, however, and it can be a little intimidating. If you do check it out, the best way to get other people to review you work is if you review theirs first; they'll then, more than likely, return the favour.

Also, you can check out this site: www.placesforwriters.com. It's a listing of several contests and calls for submissions (which the majority are for poetry) that you can look into if you're interested in maybe trying to get published. And there's a lot more!

Hope this helps. : )

I don't rate poetry, but I still think some of your postings here worth more exposure.
