A dreamer, a lover of Indian history and mythology. My fantasies carry the Indianness around them and know no limits. My favourite books are Mahabharata and Krishnavatara. A die hard patriotic Indian and a practising Hindu.
On 8 April 2011, I was done with my first draft of "Abhaya, the fearless princess of Anagha". This story is a fiction set up during the times of Mahabharata. The protagonist is a fictitious princess who finds her love in Krishna, the beloved deity of India. The draft 1 has mostly set the plot and I still need to work on improvising the dialogues, presentation and at times the research into epics that influence the story (Mahabharata, Bhagavata and Ramayana). A person who has a basic knowledge of the great epic trio of India can understand my story better.
Presently I am working on Vishakha Chandra, again a historical fiction set into around 300 BC India around the Mauryan empire. I, personally would classify this story into a Patriotic romance genre. Again, reading this would require a fair amount of knowledge about Indian history around the period and also the basic epic culture of India as frequent references would be made in the course of the story.
