Greetings, wayward traveler.
That sounds like the way an aspiring author would in fact greet someone, doesn't it? The fact is, I would never say such a thing. I'd most likely say "What's up?" or "Hey!" (which, according to my fourth-grade teacher, was for horses, and to her, I say, "NEIGH!") or something far more normal. In real life, I am a husband to a beautiful wife and a father to three children. In my spare time, I am an author of questionable success. I am pleased on both counts.
I have completed my first (very brief) short story compilation, "Journeys by Moonlight" which is available on the Nook and Kindle for only $0.99. Some of my stories on here are in that collection, and have, of course, been posted only in sample form. Sorry to be so capitalistic about it, but it would sure be nice to sell a few copies. If you like the samples, by all means, look me up in Amazon.com or bn.com! Help feed a starving artist.
The other stories on here, including "Less Than Human," "The Things They Abandoned," and "Charming" are likely to be in the bigger collection I hope to have finished in the very near future. I will be posting off and on and I appreciate good, mean critiques...I won't improve without them!
Vaya con Dios
