Update:
It's March 2013, and I'm still alive! (Just-- maybe not on this site...) I have great news and sad news! They are one and the same... After mulling over the idea and a lot of investigation, I finally started my (will-be) writing blog website! Hooray!
However, since I've posted two stories there... I feel like I should delete them here, at least partially. So-- I'm really sorry, but if you check out my website, you get a pdf? ;)
Thank you to all those who read, commented and rated Paycheck and Near Future!

Hello (writing) world!
I'm a crazy (really, who isn't?) person with an over abundance of awesome ideas (I might be biased). What better way to share them than through writing?
Alright, so I'm 24 years old, and teaching English in Japan while living a (countryside, not-that-exciting) life like a celebrity (paparazzi excluded). English is technically not my first language - that would be French - but I suffered through enough AP classes in high school (not to mention college) to be fluent.
As for the writing? Well, I don't know how many of you started with any kind of fanfiction, but that's what got me into it, my hopeless addiction to anime and manga. I've "evolved" a bit since then (at least I hope!), but the road to a dream is a long and arduous one. Which is why, I really sincerely encourage any and all constructive criticism (excited, illogical squeals accepted). I guess the only thing I try to avoid is the "you suck, go die" kind of-- comment. Because that's just plain mean and useless. But this site seems friendlier than most, so I doubt that will happen a lot, thank goodness! ;)
Now that I babbled on longer than necessary, I should try posting things... (Comments/opinions/feedback appreciated! :D)
If you're curious about what it's like living and teaching in Japan, check out my blog!
Stories:
Near Future: My first ever completed short story (as in, not fanfiction related), though to be honest it was probably intended to be a fanfiction at some point. It's a short story, even if I really wanted to say one-shot.
Paycheck: My second was-supposed-to-be-a-fanfiction turned short story. Obviously quite a bit longer than I planned, but it kind of wrote itself... I don't even know what to tell you, so feel free to find out for yourself!
Trespasser: Unfortunately based on a true story. Might need some revising to be more-- story-ish.
Within Obscurity: Originally written for a contest.
Fighting the Antvasion: Short blurb also based on a true story. Chances are high you'll be able to relate.
