"Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever." I absolutely loathe, having to fill out a biography on a website. They prompt me to tell all about myself to strangers who will someday have the luck (whether that be good or bad) to stumble onto my profile. What if I don't want to tell that I'm an amateur writer and aspiring historian? What if I forget to mention that I love reading about Greek and Roman mythology. That I love watching anime? What if the fact that I listen to a lot of punk rock bands slips my mind? That I love reading books and writing (that's the reason I'm here.) What if it slips my mind that I'm shy and that when it comes to talking to people, I start stuttering when I get excited? What if I forget to mention that I love watching Doctor Who and Sherlock? That someday, I'm going to go on an adventure? That I'm a hopeless romantic? What if my mind blanks and I forget all of these? Ugh, this is why I hate writing biographies. I post my poems on my blog too.
