Hi there. I'm Victoria and I've been on here for quite a while now. I haven't written anything in a while but I'm always welcome to join collabs if you're looking for an extra writer. I'm not the most talented on here but I do enjoy writing.
I'm currently at University at the moment, trying to become a teacher. It's fun and I love it - just going into my second year as I currently write this. I'm going to be teaching the younger children - primary education for the British people here, 5-11 for everyone else.
I really want to travel all over the world, to see so many places. The list is endless but a few main ones are Peru, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands, Germany, South Dakota, Greenland, Finland, Mexico, Russia, Canada ... The Nazca lines are the main thing on my list along with the Northen Lights.
I listen to all kinds of music. I know a lot of chart stuff, due to going out quite often but the main people I listen to would be Sigur Ros - all of their music is beautiful. The killers are also amazing, along with coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Lisa Mitchell, Local Natives and I also like Robert Pattinsons music.
I read a hell of a lot. I must have over 300 books as I could never throw one away. I'm always in charity shops, picking up this and that. There's nothing like buying a good book, that's got that 'been read a lot' look to it for a cheap price. I read all kinds of genres, and I've read tons of books but here's a few of my favs:
The Inheritance Series - These books are amazing, and I love all four of them. They are about a young boy - Eragon - who finds a dragon egg and becomes a dragon rider. Bla bla bla, loads of things happen but I love them, and If you're into that kind of thing I really recommend reading them.
Harry Potter - Everyone has to have respect for these books. Okay, so the first few aren't the best written but you have to give it to J.K, she developed as a writer and she has created a whole different world that almost everyone knows about. Plus, I was nearly in tears at the end of the last one.
Twilight - This is a love/hate book I think. The films are not the best but the books are good. I fell in love with them but yeah, I guess they are not for everyone.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Amazing books! I could not put these down, they were so good. Just read them!
Dan Brown - I'm just writing his name because anything he writes is amazing. I fell in love with the Da Vinci Code, and have not been disappointed with any of his others.
Jodi Picoult - Another great author where not one book has disappointed. Probably most famous for My Sisters Keeper - one I haven't actually read - but every book she does could be made into an amazing film. They proper make you think.
The Hunger Games - These books are good, even though they probably decline as the story goes on. Good story line though, and I enjoyed them.
