I enjoy reading, writing, yoga, meditation, personal improvement, watching videos on youtube, listening to podcasts, having deep conversations and daydreams, and writing bad poetry. I've been writing for 3 years now, and have gotten paid for a few articles I've written for Google last year.
The genres I write are horror/thriller, fantasy, suspense, and a blend of all of these combined. I also write poetry in these genres, too. I write because I'm very introverted, and words have helped save me from depression and suicide over the course of my life. I love writing. It is very cathartic and relaxing for me to sit down and write out my feelings with words, whether they be in my journal or in a story or poem. Music also relaxes me too, jazz in particular.
I also practice EFT tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Basically, you tap on certain parts of your body with your fingertips (similar to acupuncture) and repeat a certain mantra addressing your problem. For example, say you feel really tired, but have to write a essay and turn it in by tomorrow. If you tap on the key points on your body and say "Even though I feel tired, I deeply and completely accept myself" your energy level will increase and you'll much more productive and awake.
