"And you ain't never paid for drugs...not once!" - Sam, Walk Hard; The Dewey Cox Story

From Ireland, tis the bomb, I'm currently studying a joint major in English and History in University College Dublin.  I'm like editing and such so if you want anything looked at I have no problem doing it.

I can be a bit cynical (ok no, I am extremely cynical) and I am super quick to criticise however...I am nice =) also, if you send me a vampire story and it's not a REAL Vampire story...I might laugh or get angry...but then I'll be nice again!

As you may have guessed I'm not a Twilight fan, although I read all the books before the bandwagon existed.

Fav writers? Siegfried Sasson, Wilfred Owen, John Connolly, Mark Haddon, Oscar Wilde, Marita Conlon-McKenna, John Montague, Zora Neale-Hurston, Ernest Hemingawy, Michael Longley, Derek Walcott, Malorie Blackman, Sean O' Casey I suppose JK Rowling.

Books? Hmm. Book of Lost Things, The Curious Incident of the Dog at Night Time, The Stolen, The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Wicked, (and Harry Potter).

Poetry? Anything war related, Irish history poetry, Walcott in general, not into feminist works (sorry Rich and those others ones I read), everyone needs to check out Longley. Oh and Catullus...I hate you.

Plays? The Plough and the Stars, The Importance of Being Earnest, By the Bog of Cats, Electra, (if musicals count every single one!).

Not into flowery writing, while I love the Lord of the Rings films, I'm not a JRR Tolkien fan. Not into Romanticism give me Keats or Wordsworth and I'll die of boredom, it's like just make your point already..oh no you're just gonna talk about daffodils.

I feel like I left loads of works out...I feel bad on them, sorry works!

I'm not all that confident in my writing skills myself, I'm my worst critic. I am terrified of people's opinions but have no problem expressing mine...that could cause issues...

Oh yeah and I'm a speed reader, like a scarily fast speed reader. When I read punctuation goes out the door. Full stops? Pfft no full stops for me.

Yes I agree that's not a good thing.

Oh I write my stories really quickly, I get the buzz and have to put the ideas down somewhere.

The Teen Years is finished and The Adult years will be starting like...oh now...

Also writing Waking Up, which I really hope people like.

But everything else is cool and the gang!
