Hi everyone. To read my Protagonize guest blog post, describing the path to publication of my debut novel, please CLICK HERE.

Hello, I'm Tricia.

I joined Protagonize on my birthday a couple of years ago after lurking for two weeks.  A really nice friend joined two days before I did, and started posting like mad, and that was my spur.  It was the best birthday present I ever gave myself.  And I'm very grateful to my friend.  If he hadn't joined I'd probably still be lurking now, rather than writing.

I've only been writing properly since that day and I've surprised myself and everyone who knows me.  I love this site and all the gifted people here.

I believe that talent needs to be nurtured, and I always read profiles before I rate stories.  Sometimes it helps to know a little about the author before you rate.  If someone writes like a twelve year old, maybe it's because they are.

My first novel, 'Paddytum' will be published in September 2010 by Hirst Publishing.  'Paddytum' was started as a collaborative story on Protagonize in September 2008, but soon became one of my solo projects.  You can also become a fan of Paddytum on Facebook.

My only remaining solo project on Protagonize is:

Waking Up With Henry

My other favourite stories (of mine) are:

'No More Miss Nice Guy' was written during NaNoWriMo 2008 and first few chapters were posted here until recently.

My favourite stories started by other Protagonize authors are:

I love this site (did I say that already?) and I can never stay away for long.

Feel free to make friends with me on Facebook.

Feel free to join my Protagonize Group: Editing, Rewriting and Polishing.

You'll find ways to make your work shine, with games and exercises.  Come and join the fun :)

"Deep, solemn optimism, it seems to me, should spring from this firm belief in the presence of God in the individual; not a remote, unapproachable governor of the universe, but a God who is very near every one of us, who is present not only in earth, sea and sky, but also in every pure and noble impulse of our hearts.'' Helen Keller"
