Updates, dear readers:
Writing around my studies, I have rediscovered a Latin piece, and sown the seeds of others; feel free to add to my collaborative stories :)
A little arty, I drew that doodle>>> Its wording comes from the title of one of my poems: 'My Moonbeam Guy'.
------------------------------------------------------
Who is she? Is she a metaphor? Is she a mirage? Do her words hang like icicles, dripiing from her palms, ready to glisten as they fall, forming this world?
A woman of mystery, music and mayhem, I play wih words, and they play with me. I'm starting to get the feel of what SpookofNight would call 'out of control characters'. I even have a crush on one of my own...
quodcumque novus, est optabilius.
Who am I? I don’t really know. What consists of the ethics of others may just be light quicksand through my fingers, or it may be the quicksand that drags me down to my destruction.
Obviously, I know my name and what became of my past, and somewhat of my future (Oh, I’m actually slightly psychic!), but the present, the present-being and present-doing, is ever-changing, and it stands unclaimed. On the contrary, it is that present that is the only true instance, due to time being non-linear. Listen to Doctor Who and angel psychologists: they say the same things.
I enjoy Philosophy, Psychology, and the combination of the two. You can tell? Oh good.
On a lighter note, as writers we are a different level of human and tend not to conform to those groups or ‘cliques’. However…I will admit that I’m a bit of a computer geek! And, although not a great scholar, I revel in the classical languages, finding triumph in those who were different!
Your resident classics scholar is here! Yes, I do occasionally write in Latin (see 'A Few More Poems'). Call it a flaw, if you must.
My finished stories on Protagonize. Evidently, I’m very proud of them:
1. Agnetha has always got a mystery to solve.
2. There’s a bit of romance in this time-jumping supernatural novel.
3. Down-to-earth, schoolgirl flashback about an aspiring Ezme.
4. Nothing is ever as it seems when a 1930s’ lady decides to hold her mystery party.
I’m not particularly good at communicating with other people. I have problems, that’s true. I’m (not clinically diagnosed) Bipolar and am a recovering self-harmer. But that’s enough moaning, let’s get writing!
I love descriptive pieces. I like the imagery that can produced from just a string of letters and spaces, and the emotive language therein, which will help the reader feel the story as well as see and hear it. ‘Show, don’t tell’ is the rule I always seem to fail at following; it is in my opinion that leaving out lines for the reader to assume is indirect, and can be uncomfortable. Also, I’m bad at editing out description. It is a bane of mine. How can one cull their darhlings?
A well-lived-in Protagonist (in the sense of a person being on Protagonize for two years rather than the heroine of a novel), I’m here to improve my poetry and prose, and to try new things! Improvement is never not necessary, rather for those who feel the time is ready for improvement. For a thing cannot be achieved unless it is wanted.
I support Fairtrade, various charities, and still feel a need to always give back to the world. Writing is my way of doing so. Please, read my works at your leisure, and, most importantly, enjoy!
If you like fantasy, I’ll give you: The Witches’ Diary (open to all)
If you like poetry: A Few More Poems
A girls role-play, and favourite of mine [from Padfoot]: The Sistren of Randomness
Second part to the epic 1000-page role-play: The Protagonize Bus Continuation
If you want modern-day Zillagirl: Gorgeous + Mysterious
Or if you’re looking for one of my mysteries: A Game of Murder
I wanted to make this profile different, something special; I don’t know whether I achieved that, because it’s up to you, dear reader (that is, if you read profiles. You might just want to skip to my work >>>).
Unfortunately, in my mind, I have a lot more things to say, but I am purposefully cutting them to make this profile [more] concise [than before].
So, I hoped you liked this little extract of my life.

"Ok... This idea is for an experimental poem...
My idea is that anyone who wants to can contribute a stanza per "chapter." The only real rule being to try and see if you can stick to the rhythm and rhyme scheme.
The subject matter is dreams so you could basically talk about whatever you wanted.
Maybe I'll start with a few stanzas to kick it off."

Oh Miserable Maelstrom
"Given the inextricable nature of vulnerability and illogic in matters of romance it is of no surprise that people make dangerous mistakes. A friend of mine has feelings for a young lady, flirtatious, unstable and taken. Or atleast she was taken, recently she has been made single, this poem is about seeing a friend and hoping they don't make a mistake. I shall perhaps in time put up an old poem about my now long dead feelings for this friend."
