My real name is La Nan but like to be called as Aroni Rain, a nick name. I was born in Dee Maw Soe, Karenni State, which was located in the East of Burma but grew up in a refugee camp#1, Ban Mai Nan Soi, a place closed to Mae Hong Son, a small town of Thailand. I have learned many things about life inside that camp before I moved to Wellington, the capital of New Zealand through the helps of United Nations of Commission for Refugees in 2009.
My parents are not descended from some kind of book-wormed families but they always let me be what I want, from the day I was born until now. Therefore, I always spent most of my time, reading books such as novels, poems, biographies and other genes of books including philosophy and religion. I must thank them (my parents) for letting me do what I want even they have been through a lot of difficulties in their lives.
I join this website because I just found out that it is an interesting, really inspiring place to begin as a writer, I believe.
