Friends, you may have noted a change in my tone from my summer writings which tended to focus on humor to the writings now which are much more, er, serious and quite frankly melodramatic.
A brief explanation--for me my writing doesn't necessarily reflect what I believe, but it does reflect what I feel at the moment I write it. Most of my short writing (ex: poems and short stories and such that I post on here) are done very "in the moment". Well, lately the moments where I've desired to write have been the moments where the emotion is more serious and more somber. Hopefully at some point I'll get back to the humor/parody type things which I also really get a lot out of constructing.
