Russell hasn't written anything in the last 31 days. :(

I am 17 and from Indiana. I live on a farm and grow corn, beans, and wheat. I am the treasurer of the local FFA Chapter. Our Parliamentary Procedure team is pretty good. I listen to country music, and some older rock bands like AC/DC and Bon Jovi. I am planning to work in agriculture sales after college.
I'm starting to get to the point where I don't want to write a story unless it has a well defined plot. It just seems so much simpler when I know what I'm working towards. I sometimes spend about a month planning stories (much to the annoyance of my collaborators =)), but at least we all know what we're doing then.
I prefer to write science fiction and military stories. Usually I make them go hand in hand. I also do a large amount of fan fiction.
I enjoy reading a good book every now and then. Most of the things I have to read are pointless though, thanks to school. I particularly like Ralph Compton and Louis L'Amour. Both write westerns. I highly recommend Compton's Trail of the Gunfighter series.
I am in the following Collabs:
Mass Effect: The Hierarchy - This story is exploring turian society from Mass Effect. My character is Solona Vyrnnus, a soon to be biotic Vanguard.
Complete:
Mass Effect: Shattered Alliance - Sanus Kryik
One Shot, One Kill - Staff Sergeant Jack Carrington

"One day I was speeding along at the typewriter, and my daughter - who was only a child at the time - asked me, "Daddy, why are you writing so fast?" And I replied, "Because I want to see how the story turns out!"" Louis L'Amour
And now, some quotes by me. I came up with these for an assignment in etymology;
Everything worth saying has already been said... Wait, that's it!

Love is like chocolate; if you keep it cold, it gets hard.
If someone breaks your heart, return it. It's under warranty until you die.

"In August 2010 President Obama pulled all U.S troops out of Iraq. Throughout the rest of the year tensions between North Korea and the rest of the Western world escalated dramatically.
