Current Status:  Wow, I can't believe I've been away for so long.  Too long.  I haven't written anything new, but I sure hope to.  

My name is Amelia. I won't be modest; there is a lot to share about myself.

First thing you should know about me: I'm honest. If I don't like something, I won't beat around the bush and only hint at it. I'm also blunt and to the point. Some people say it's rude; I say the truth is ugly.

I will be honest with what I think of your work, and I only hope you will repay me the favor.

Second: I won't share everything about me. Somethings are just not your business.

Sorry, I sound pretty serious and hard as a rock. I'm not. Promise.

For minute details, I'll start with my favorite color is lavender.

I'm a fan of winter. Ice is my favorite form of water.

I have red hair, green eyes, round face...

I love cheesy jokes. They're the best.

My feelings are easily hurt, though I try not to show it. Don't let this slow you down though... Sometimes getting hurt is healthy.

I'm a firm believer that Cornelia Funke is a master of words.

My favorite series (since it's hard to choose just one book) are the Inkheart Trilogy, and the Leven Thumps books.

I like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings; don't bother about asking about Twilight. It doesn't make the list of favorites.

Words make my world go 'round, and music rocks it. I live in, and breathe most anything with words.

As far as music goes, Paramore is my all-time favorite. I love Death Cab for Cutie, Flyleaf, Hey Monday, A Fine Frenzy, Owl City, There For Tomorrow, Circa Survive, Stars, Bloc Party, Jason Durello, Taio Cruz, and various other rappers. I'll pretty much listen to just about anything.

I love to read almost as much as I write, so don't be surprised if you wake up one morning and find a comment on your work.

I'm fascinated by the stars and the moon, and I simply hate living in the city at night where I can't see any of it.

I'm a rather thoughtful and inspired person, often staring out into space, thinking about the latest plot, or the newest stanza of poetry in the middle of a critical conversation.

I like dragonflies, fireflies, butterflies... Notice a pattern?
