"Look up at the stars and not down at your feet." - Stephen Hawking. "Writing, to me, is simply thinking through my fingers." -Isaac Asimov. I write a lot. Some of it comes to fruition, some of it does not. Depending on my mood, it can be anything from angry writing to lovey-dovey writing - I even tried my hand at erotica! Suffice to say it went all right, but I don't think I'll be reworking Fifty Shades of Grey at any point! When it comes to reading, I read as much as possible! At the moment, for pleasure I am reading Veda: Secrets from the East by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and his disciples. For intellectual purposes I am reading Autism and Asperger Syndrome by Simon Baron-Cohen, as I am in my third year of my Music BA degree at UEA and am doing my dissertation on autism and music therapy. Tough task, but hopefully I will manage it! Other than reading and writing, I am a volunteer for the Norwich Green Party and I have two jobs! I work at Pizza Hut on Saturdays and Sundays, and as a Student Buddy for UEA the rest of the time. Some might say that it's too much work, but it keeps me busy and that's all that matters to me (oh and the money's nice too!). In my personal life, I am engaged to be married. My wedding is taking place on 21st August 2013, and I honestly can't wait! There's something magical about marrying your best friend, and I can't wait to walk down that aisle and become Mrs Rhodes. I also have Asperger Syndrome (hence my dissertation topic), so apologies if I come across as blunt or not 'getting' your side of things. I would ask that you do some basic research into Asperger Syndrome before you talk to me, mostly so that there are no misunderstandings between us. Hope to talk to some of you soon!
