So, who is Larina?
I am an INFP, country-girl-turned-city-girl, a Mennonite, nursing student, and a Canadian. Underneath these labels and stereotypes, I am Larina. I think too much and I talk too little and I write because it helps me make sense of the world.
I think my stories reveal more about myself than my biography, or at least I hope they do. Check out the Magic Princess Story if you want something cute and finished. Another complete work is Meaning of Life. Currently I am working on A New Home and The Compensation Project. Whenever I am blocked, though, I switch projects a lot, so that will probably change.
I am a lazy perfectionist and a professional procrastinator, and I enjoy fantasy, science fiction, self-help, and basically any book or movie that makes you think.
My favourite author is still Tamora Pierce, because her characters are so strong and noble. I just finished reading Life of Pi. I watch a lot of TV and movies right now because I don't have time to read during the school year. Some of you might like my favourite movie: Stranger than Fiction with Emma Thompson and Will Ferrell.
Even though I am an introvert, I love meeting new people on this site, so don't hesitate to say 'hello' or comment on my work. Constructive feedback is welcome too.
