"I've always just shown up and tried to figure out what's for lunch and am I going to get to play some racquetball that night." -Robert Downey Jr.

I'm a college student doing a course in New Media and English. Having just completed my first year, I am intent on sitting in my room, staying online for as long as possible and burying my head in the sand at the first sign of trouble. I like peace, quiet, laughing obnoxiously, and other hypocritical things- like eating food from other people and then getting offended whenever they try to take my fork. I'm not entirely horrible though, despite your initial assumptions. Also, I'm awkward, and find it difficult to think before I speak.

Writing my profile information the first time felt surprisingly difficult. Despite having facebook and twitter and all those things, I still don't understand how big white boxes can expect you to describe who you are in a few words. It's a challenge which I enjoy with characters, but with myself I just feel as though I'm fumbling and stuttering with the keyboard. I suppose it could be as easy as saying, "I am Katherine, who procrastinates, acts childish, and refuses to go to watch scary movies after 8 pm, but follows Marble Hornets religiously.' But I don't think that's saying enough.

That isn't to say that I'm full of myself, or that I should talk about myself constantly, only that what I do say about myself may be exaggerated or swaying by me in a way that means that the words represent now a Picasso painting of who I am.

But enough of my ramblings. Tell me about yourself future reader and white box. Tell me what you want me to provide for you, and I'll tell you if I'm capable, or ready for that level of commitment. You want a Short One-off story? I can do that. You want a novel in the works? I'll try to do that but I'm unsure how frequently I'll actually update it. You want a collaborated project? Sure, no problem. You want a review? Already done my friend.

Maybe yourself, the white box here and I could get to know each other through messages or just chill out and immerse ourselves in this sites creative atmosphere. I would like that. :]

I'll be seeing you again soon, white box. I'm sure I'll be dissatisfied by this short rant soon enough, or perhaps have a story link or recommendation that I'll want to insert here. Keep checking back visitors! It's nice to see your face around these parts. (Not that your face is literally here or that I could in any way see you.. I'm speaking of 'face' in a metaphoric sense. Just clarifying in case anyone felt the need to look behind them. xP)
