"There must be those among who can sit down and weep and still be counted as warriors. -Adrienne Rich"

I'm Julia, a writer, NaNoWriMo-er, poet, artist, journalist, and student at Simon's Rock. I'm extremely queer in every sense.

One of my New Year's resolutions was to write daily. That hasn't been going so well, but I'm not giving up yet.

I've tried (and failed) at NaNoWriMo three years in a row now, but I haven't given up on my latest work, Phrases Spoken in Nightmares. According to Scrivener, I'm at 24,296 words and counting (very slowly).

I'm an amateur photographer, but mostly I work with acrylic and mixed media. I'm in desperate need of a scanner.

I'm pretty friendly, and I've been on the site for a while, so if any newbies swing by, they're more than welcome to say hello.

Any more questions? Just ask! Particularly if you're interested in Simon's Rock!

All the best,
Julia
