Welcome to my profile!
I love reading and writing, and have done from a very young age. I am currrently study History and Archaeology at university, so as you can imagine; its something I do ALOT! I have a-levels in English Literature, Classics, Greek, General Studies, Law and History, so as you can imagine reading has always been a significant part of my life.
My favourite authors are non fiction writers-more or less from living a text-book lifestyle. However I do enjoy alot of classical literature and renaissance texts. My favourite Roman author would have to be Ovid. I really enjoyed his erotic love poety and his collection of hellanic myth, metamorphosis (how could Augustus exile him?!). Renaissance art is something that also takes my interest as well as philosophy. As well as this, i enjoy some modern literature. Stephen King is one of my favourite authors; I love Carrie, Misery, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, Needless Things and The shining-he really knwos how to put the reader ina vunerable position. I also enjoy the work of Margaret Atwood. Biography is another genre I find interesting.
HOWEVER. The genre of literature I usually produce is quite *blush* erotic. I think every adult should be able to enjoy sexual literature. It is something that can be enjoyed by couples as well as by ones self. My erotic stories are aimed at women. Too much of the sex market is aimed at the pleasure of men, especially pornography, so I decided I would love to write for the pleasure of women. As a woman myself, I feel as if I would be able to achieve this, and believe me---I havn't had any complaints so far. The fiction is in no way pornographic or tasteless, but romantic and charming, appealing to every sense, rather than just sight and sound.
I hope you enjoy the literature that I will be producing.
