"Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and the shadows will fall behind you" - Walt Whitman "Carpe Diem: Sieze the day" - Robin Williams (in Dead Poets' Society) "Men lead lives of quiet desperation and often die with the songs still in them" - Henry David Thoreau "If you stare into the abyss long enough, the abyss stares back into you" - Friedrich Nietzsche "And we should call every truth false which was not accompanied by at least one laugh" - Friedrich Nietzsche "Con I'm usually a pretty free spirited young chap from the East, and it takes a lot to really bother me. It's only really a major injustice that'll get me rearing. I spend the majority of my time reading and writing, and I dabble in a bit of everything with writing except for non-fiction. I'm still in high school, but I plan to be a college professor of english and literature, hopefully creative writing and medieval renaissance or ancient literature, but I also want to write in my spare time. I mostly write philosophical works as I always loved and respected the Greek and German philosophers...put a little a Socrates and Nietzsche my way and my day just gets a whole hue brighter. Regardless, I will take any opportunity to spread my writing around for people to see, and to maybe try helping people work out any kinks in their writing or just build them up and give them the confidence you really need as a writer to make those bold choices.
