"And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

Dear Reader,

First and foremost, let me apologize for the following paragraphs. I'm very bad at introductions online; usually when I introduce myself to new people I have them pick a card or I vanish a cigarette. If we were in person I'd shake your hand, break out the magic, and I'd probably tell you some punny jokes. Since you're reading this now I promise that if you ever do meet me I'll do some magic for you. In the meanwhile, this letter will have to do.

I love writing for the same reason I love magic: I love being honest through telling lies. With magic I will cheat, deceive, and swindle you, but your astonishment is very real.  With writing the characters, their lives, and their adventures are fictitious, but some legacies will live forever. There are things you can do with magic that you can never do with writing, and vice versa. Dai Vernon may not have been on the New York Times Best Sellers list, but I'm pretty sure that Stephen King has a horrible Diagonal Palm Shift. Until I'm buried six feet under in the (Hopefully) distant future I will continue to do both professions.

From an early age I was mesmerized by Pop Culture. I measure coolness by Fonzies, I argue about Malcolm Reynolds/Han Solo death-battles, and I think Joel Schumacher should be charged for attempt of murder of the Batman franchise. In Kubrick we trust, in Tarantino we live, and I pray for more Joss Whedon projects. Edgar Wright should do a Deadpool movie. Top three Doctors are Tennant, Baker, and Smith. Picard is a better captain while Kirk had a better crew. Because of my (Healthy) obsession with Pop Culture I write for a website called, where I publish articles regularly.

If you ever want to hang out with me I attend many conventions across California. I'm always at Anime Los Angeles, Anime Expo, San Diego Comic Con, and LBCC. Because of my work with Gamefob I travel to Las Vegas, New York, Seattle, and elsewhere. If you're looking to see me outside of a convention I can be found at The Nuart Theater in Santa Monica. Most weekends I'm there for The Rocky Horror Picture Show. If you're ever in town you should catch the show; It's one of the best shadowcasts around.

I'll post on Protagonize regularly, but not as regularly as my blog. It takes about one to three weeks for me to finalize a story. After it's been written, edited, and polished it'll be published.

Sincerely Sincere,

-Jeff Favor
