Well, Im Jade, Clearly Lol

I decided to update my profile!

I love writing and reading works from amateur writers, hence my joining this website (: Im now the grand old age of 18 and having experienced very little in the world, I would describe myself as a very amateur writer. I live in a large town in the south of Yorkshire by the name of Doncaster which isn't the most inspiring nor entertaining place to live. However, Its not full of farms and giggling old men 'supping a pint in't local' (well actually it is) but is quite a modern town. Yes we do have the odd farm and a market and old those Yorkshire-y things but its big and lively and young and though it had gained many negative stereotypes over the years, Im pretty happy to say im Doncaster - born and bred :) as the birthplace of Jeremy Clarkson (yes I am a fan) and of me! Its not doing so bad :) Im currently fulfilling a dream, being at university studying a BA in English Language and Linguistics - I love writing words, but also studying them too! but I have found that there is a lack of creative writing in this course, it is very academical, much more than I would have thought. Even so, its interesting and stimulating and I am enjoying it :) I have a random interest in watching food programmes :/ Even though I can only cook the basics, and actually dont even like a very diverse range of foods. I also love watching property programmes, sliiightly obsessed with house and interior design lol. Much of my writing may include these (: I have no clue about my future, I dont want to become a teacher (I am often asked by those who take me as organised and quiet ((ha)) upon hearing I study english) and I dont even know if my future career will involve my love of writing, but as Im only a 1st year, I have plenty of time to think!

I would like to think that what I write on this website is intelligent, witty, somewhat genius in its own rights. However, I am prone to mistakes, and writing stories in my head rather than typing them down (rather than writing - damn technology! haha) and what I DO write will probably be read fewer times than the medicine pamphlet we recieve with paracetamol - nevertheless, If you do happen to read my 'works' then I really hope you enjoy it, P.s. I tend to make words up :/ Ha!

Anyways I'll welcome comments and critiques, by the plenty. And would love to make some friends who share my interest in the written word ;)
