I love writing.

That's the only fact about me that's stayed consistent from the time I was about 5 (yes, apparently I was making up stories about soap-dishes and buses then).

I've been a teenage rebel, angsty poet-feminist-writer, gone establishment as a corporate slave, fallen in and out of various adventures of the heart and now...all I am is someone who writes.

I'm working on my first novel. Mind, that's only a Word document but it's growing by the day. If it works out, I'll be famous (as we all are, in our dreams). And if not...well, let's just worry about it when we get to that, shall we?

The Idea-smithy is where it all began online and I still blog about the city, style, poetry, photography, fiction and all sorts of other ideas. But I have a different voice at my other blog, The XX Factor where I address the oldest conflict of all - the battle of the sexes. And of course, I'm also on Twitter.
