Hello :)
I am Nadia, a little miss from down under with a big passion for writing. I am a coffee addict, albeit a secret addict since the 'rents think the caffeine will make me high (in which they are right xD). I love chocolate and ice-cream, can't get enough of them! I like to read and listen to music, and also saying random words in German in the middle of a conversation!
I am extremely random (I think you've got the message by now xD). My biggest, most gigantic passion is reading and writing! I'd love to make a profession of it one day, but in the mean time I must be content with school.
I am a dreamer, drifting off into far away places when reality just isn't enough for me. Plot ideas would come to me in the strangest places, like on a crowded train or in the middle of Maths class. And then the second I have pen and paper chaos reign supreme, with a jumble of words and symbols hastily scribbled down. Really, it's surprising that I make sense at all :D
It's pretty much impossible to be a writer without first being a reader, and I am an avid one at that. Aside from home, the best place on earth for me is a library (or a bookstore if I could afford to buy the twenty books that I currently want). Books are the most important inanimate part of my life! My favourites will have to be the Harry Potter series (of course xD), Gone With The Wind, His Dark Materials series, Little Women, Perfect Match, Daughter of the Forest, Heart's Blood, The Memory Keeper's Daughter, The Other Boleyn Girl, Anne of Green Gable, To Kill A Mockingbird, Wuthering Heights and pretty much anything written by Jodi Picoult and Juliet Marillier :) I love my historical fiction as well!
As a writer, I tend to dabble in many different genres. Having enjoyed and loved books from genres so unalike they may as well be from different planets, I believe that a good writer should be versatile. My favourite genre to write is still realism, because it allows me to deal with/put forward my opinions on issues of our modern world. I love historical fantasy as well, and am absolutely obsessed with the Tudors and also medieval Ireland. Am trying my hand at mystery at the moment, so wish me luck :D
What I am reading at the moment:
- The Red Queen by Philippa Gregory: Her writing has this quality that lures me in word by word, page by page, and before I know it it is past midnight. Very interesting historically, and can't wait to read the third book!

- Catch Me If You Can: a realist story about death and what happens to the ones who get left behind.
- Mine: a realist story about motherhood and its true meaning, whether the true mother is the one who brings up the child or whether she's the one who gave it life.
- Hourglass: A Harry Potter fanfiction following Minerva McGonagall as a second year student.
- Til I Can Make It On My Own: A collection of poems and lyrics inspired from everyday life, music and the strange thing called my imagination (please critique and help a beginner poet improve xD )
- Inheritance: Inspired through reading "The Constant Princess" by Phillippa Gregory, this is the tale of a princess fighting for everything in a foreign land.

- Little Nobodies: What happened to those street urchins whose disappearance meant nothing? Little nobodies of the 1900s aare finally given a voice. Started by LuneXian, I am writing as Isa Perazzo.
- Elixir: Amazing collab based loosely on the Seven Swans by Brothers Grimm! I am writing as Aislinn Ni Fionn, the daughter of a chieftain. Done with marcuslee, dottylotti and DollyInk
- S.P.E.L.L.S: A Harry Potter fanfiction collab start by HarryPotter.lover. I'm writing as Zoe Henderson, a fifth year Gryffindor.
- Faeritayl's Fairytales: it had slowed somewhat. I'm writing as Snow White and her prince. Started by DollyInk.
- Flash: A dancer's life through the eyes of a teenage girl and boy. I am Max Everett, and have the pleasure of writing with the wonderful Maggie4ever for the third time :D
- Standing In The Storm: A modern Romeo and Juliet collab between me and Maggie4ever. I'm writing as Jackson Barker, spy for World Domination.
