A combination family man / computer geek would be an apt discription of what I am.  As a writer, I tend towards semi-hard science fiction (stuff that seems readily achievable) and away from the stuff that's outright fantasy at this point.  I've written a few unpublished stories and participated in a couple of writing forums over the years, but have not done anything of any real artistic merit.  I've decided to give this a try to see if it lets me keep my creative juices flowing.
