"I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." Edgar Allan Poe I grew up in the wilds of the Canadian Shield, where my neighbours were wolves, moose, perrenial-eating deer and the occasional lynx. I studied Zoology at the University of Guelph and worked in the Edinburgh Zoological Gardens in Scotland, where I was chased by lions, wrestled deaf tigers and fed antibiotics to Polar Bears by baby bottle! I have been writing since I was thirteen, have three dogs, two cats, one horse, three kids and one husband. I have managed to keep all of them alive so far, along with writing three novels. "To Journey in the Year of the Tiger" and "To Walk in the Way of Lions" are available on Kindle and "Cold Stone and Ivy" is currently at Penguin.
